$BSN - Basin Energy Ltd is pleased to provide an update on preparations for its Phase two drilling program at the Geikie Uranium Project scheduled to start in Q1 2024. The Project is located on the eastern margin of the world-class Athabasca Basin in Canada. Maiden drilling completed in August 2023 successfully identified uranium mineralisation with assays up to 0.27% U3O8. Uranium mineralisation is located proximal to two regionally significant structures at Aero Lake and Preston Creek, with associated extensive hydrothermal alteration characteristic of large uranium mineralising systems. Modelling and integration of the recently completed Airborne Gravity Gradiometer (‘AGG’) data has provided a series of high priority targets that warrant next phase drill testing. The AGG survey was designed to target areas of enhanced basement alteration associated with drill defined uranium fertile structural corridors. Basin’s Managing Director, Pete Moorhouse, commented: “Basin is preparing for a busy winter exploration season at its Athabasca uranium projects. We are excited to be following up on the success of our phase one drilling at Geikie, which intersected significant uranium mineralisation, with a robust phase two drill program. Our first phase of drilling identified uranium mineralisation and the key ingredients for an Athabasca basement-hosted high-grade uranium deposit, including significant alteration associated with regional structures. Our AGG survey then defined a series of compelling gravity lows indicating the potential for intense alteration. This combined data leaves us with very exciting drill targets that we are eager to move forward on in phase two of drilling. Also, the recent news of consolidation in the Eastern Athabasca further supports our interpretation of the prospectivity of this previously overlooked part of the prolific Athabasca Basin. We are continuing to see a very positive sentiment in the uranium space with the uranium spot price now at 15 year highs. Basin is extremely well positioned to capitalise on this through the exploration of its projects in the world-class Athabasca Basin.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/dUh79ye2 #BSN #Athabasca #Geikie #Uranium Blake Steele Pete Moorhouse Cory B.. Baselode Energy Corp. (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) said it plans an expansion of its drill program at the Catharsis #uranium project after promising early results included intersections of anomalous radioactivity similar to other uranium deposits. Drilling will be extended to 4,000 metres, the Toronto-based company said. following the discovery of anomalous radioactivity within a structural corridor, indicating potential similarities with other high-grade uranium deposits. Chief executive officer James Sykes expressed optimism about these findings, which include quartz-hematite oxidized fluid systems and clay alteration characteristics, leading to an increased exploration scope. The drilling program aims to explore additional target areas for near-surface, high-grade uranium deposits. More at #Proactive #ProactiveInvestors #TSXV #OTCQB #FIND #BSENF http://ow.ly/vQ5c105kyA3

Baselode Energy Corp. (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) has announced positive findings from the final #uranium assays of its 7,512-meter diamond drilling program at its Hook project, outside the ACKIO uranium prospect. The company said its exploration unearthed new anomalous uranium in previously untested areas east of ACKIO, expanding the company's geological understanding of the broader Hook project, which shows "excellent potential" for additional deposits. "The results from these preliminary exploration drill holes encourage us to further test the project-scale fertile structure that hosts ACKIO," #BaselodeEnergy president and CEO James Sykes commented in a statement. "In addition to the Mirror and Sandstone targets, we will be drilling additional regional targets in 2024." Atha Energy Corp. (CSE:SASK, OTCQB:SASKF) said it has made a significant stride in #uranium exploration with the discovery of a uriniferous boulder train at its North Beacon project, boasting grades of up to 11.3% U3O8. The company said in a statement that has uncovered promising prospects, including multiple uranium showings and conductors featuring interpreted cross-cutting structures. The analysis of these boulders can help geologists trace back to the potential origin of the uranium and guide further exploration efforts to locate the primary uranium source, which could be a significant uranium deposit. ATHA’s analysis indicated that these boulders are likely sourced from a region coinciding with the Snowbird tectonic zone on the Crest project. Standard Uranium Ltd (@standarduranium) is set to commence an ambitious drilling campaign at its Sun Dog Uranium Project in Saskatchewan. The company's vice president of exploration, Sean Hillacre, revealed that the program aims to test high-priority targets for potential high-grade, basement-hosted uranium mineralization along well-defined structural corridors. 'Several promising drill targets have been prioritized,' Hillacre stated. These targets were identified through prospecting conductive rock trends revealed by an advanced airborne survey. The company aims to explore conductive corridors characterized by newly discovered radioactive graphitic fault zones visible at the surface. The program will involve drilling approximately 1,000 to 1,200 meters across 5 to 7 drill holes. Standard Uranium plans to continuously modify and adjust the program based on ongoing results and geological interpretations, optimizing the exploration process for a significant uranium discovery. #uranium #exploration #saskatchewan #miningnews
