Saying goodbye hurts. I’m preparing for a trip to Plymouth this weekend to see my daughter who’s at Uni and honour the anniversary of my Dad’s passing. I guarantee I’ll be crying when its time to part ways. I find goodbyes tough. 😭😭 It was the same in my former cleaning business - bidding farewell to clients who we felt weren’t a good fit for us, was hard, I would agonise and lose sleep over it 😫. In the early days , I’d said yes to every client, believing it was the right thing to do. You didn’t turn away clients! 🤣 But as my biohazard services grew and attracted high value consistent work, I just knew we’d outgrown our smaller contracts. Letting go wasn’t easy but to continue our growth it was necessary . 🤔 I never imagined I’d turn down contracts - but doing so allowed us to replace the low value work with higher ticket specialist cleaning. And whilst I worried and stressed over it, as you do when your a business owner, the result was it transformed my cleaning business profits and proved to be the best decision. Goodbyes are still tough for me, but I understand how they pave the way for new opportunities and growth. #businessgrowthstrategy #goodbye #specialistcleaning
