During this year's DOD Information Intelligence Systems (DoDIIS) Conference, Leo Garciga, the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO), participated in a Service Chief Information Officer Panel discussion with Mrs. Jane Overslaugh Rathburn, the Chief Information Officer of the Department of the Navy.
The panelists discussed various topics, including workforce dynamics, policy development, the maturation of cloud services, streamlined software delivery, data centricity, and other subjects that collectively form an integral part of the overarching digital transformation initiative.
Edacheril "E.P." Mathew, the Deputy CIO for DIA, moderated the event. Garciga discussed how the Army is increasing capabilities to digitally transform how the service shares data and information across the service.
Developing policies and guidance addressing Information Technology Reciprocity Acceptance will enable the unified sharing of information with our partners and allies. They create a shared set of standards to make the Warfighter at all echelons more successful in contested environments.
