What does YOUR journey look like? If you haven't done so yet, take a minute and imagine with your great life journey would look like if you could have it your way. Don't be afraid to dream a little. Or a lot. Every person's journey is perfectly unique to them. So what is yours? Now what's holding you back from that journey? If you're like many, it could boil down to finances. Now for the important question: How far off are you? Do you know? Do you REALLY know? What would you need to change to get there? No promises, but you may be closer than you think. But you won't know until you map it out. Do yourself a favor and map it out. Maybe its feasible and maybe its not. But at least you'll know. The sooner you do this, the more time you'll give yourself to get there.

Took me half a decade to realize these 21 Solid Life Rules: Learn them in less than 3mins. 1. Nobody is better than you. 2. You did well yesterday is not as important as doing well today. 3. Your ability to communicate the connection between what you sell and people's dreams gives you the ultimate power. 4. Don't just tell people what is wrong... Show/teach what is right. 5. Money is the easiest thing you can make... Value is the hardest thing to create... When value is created, getting money becomes easy. 6. Never pretend to be something you can actually BE. 7. Your reputation is allowed to precede you... It should never exceed you. 8. Don't try to help people... Teach people how to help themselves. 9. Life is unfair... And nobody cares about your suffering until you make a success out of it. 10. Any human life that is not inspiring other people is not worth living. 11. Do not spend your time with people who don't value it. 12. Whatever life you want to live, you wake up everyday to design it. 13. Whoever is doing the best around you is who you want to spend more time with. 14. You may not be the cause of your problems but it's your responsibility to fix it because you will bear 100% of the consequences of not fixing it. 15. Never take advice from anyone who does not have the results that you want. 16. Be careful how you make money because you may not like who you become after you've made it. 17. You don't need people's money... They need your value. 18. People don't change until they lose, hurt and learn enough... That's when enough becomes enough. 19. Living a life of purpose is a journey, not a destination. And it's not always easy... Imagine waking up every day driven by a purpose that fuels your passion, shapes your goals, and defines your legacy. This path is not devoid of challenges. In fact, the pursuit of purpose often leads to some of the most unpleasant experiences imaginable. (ever change a diaper? 😂) Yet, it's these very experiences that become the stories we look back on with a fondness that surprises even ourselves. Why? Because they represent growth, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of something greater than ourselves. In the realm of financial planning, living a purpose-driven life is a critical piece of the puzzle often overlooked. It's not just about securing your future financially but aligning your financial goals with your life's purpose. As we evolve, so too does our definition of purpose. What mattered a decade ago might not hold the same weight today. This evolution is natural, expected, and something to be embraced rather than feared. Navigating life's financial journey with your purpose as your compass ensures that every decision, investment, and sacrifice is a step toward a life filled with meaning and fulfillment. So, as you reflect on your life's purpose, remember that it's okay for it to change. It's okay for the journey to be hard. Embrace the challenges. They are merely stepping stones on the path to a truly purpose-driven life. -------------------------------------------- My name is @jakeheisler and I'm making an effort to post valuable, timely content here on LinkedIn. 📌 📌 Life lessons I’ve embraced in 2024: 📌 📌 ✨ Financial readiness: It’s essential to be prepared for the unexpected, like losing a job, by building a financial cushion and having a backup plan. ✨ Smart borrowing: Take on loans only when you have a clear plan to manage payments and support your expenses, even in times of uncertainty. ✨ Patience and flow: Don’t rush or force things—sometimes the best approach is to let life unfold naturally. ✨ Trust the process: Challenges pass with time. Stay patient, trust the journey, and keep moving forward. ✨ Self-assessment: Regularly evaluate your well-being, both in your career and personal life, to ensure you’re on the right path. ✨ Grieving and healing: Losing someone you love is incredibly hard. It's okay to grieve, but remember to stay strong, allow yourself to heal, and slowly begin to move forward. #LifeLessons #Growth #Resilience #SelfCare 🙏 🙏 🤞

Imagine your ideal life in ten years. … What is one regret you don’t want to have? When we think about the future, we typically fantasise about all the possibilities for how I left will be better. While envisioning future achievements can be inspiring, it often pales in comparison to the power of considering the things we want to avoid. As humans, we are more motivated by fear and loss than by reward and gain. This concept, known as loss aversion, suggests that the pain of losing is psychologically about twice as powerful as the pleasure of gaining. Asking ourselves these questions can be a powerful exercise in self-reflection and goal setting. When we identify potential regrets, we can pinpoint behaviors and habits that might inhibit us from reaching our goals. This awareness helps us avoid distractions and stay focused on what truly matters. Research has shown that people are more willing to exert effort to avoid losses than to achieve equivalent gains. For example, a study published in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience found that participants were more motivated to invest cognitive effort when faced with potential losses compared to potential gains. For instance, if you don’t want to regret not starting your own business, this fear can motivate you to take the leap and work diligently towards your entrepreneurial dreams. As for me; My three highest values are Family, Health and Meaningful Work. I believe that Family and Meaningful Work are always going to be two motivating forces that get me out of bed each day. Health is a satiable value. Meaning that, good health can be taken for granted And it only becomes a focus in times of bad health. So for me, it’s one that can easily get swept aside with excuses because I’m tired from hanging out with the kids all weekend, Or I’m too busy with work. So, I don’t ever, ever, want to weigh more than 100kgs. Weight is generally a decent and easy proxy for health. And If that sounds heavy, I’m 6’5” 🤣 So, tell me, what is the one regret you don’t want to have in ten years? —————————————— If you’re looking for a financial adviser who goes beyond the numbers and focuses on what truly matters to you, send me a DM and let’s connect. Together, we can build a financial strategy that aligns with your goals and values.

What if ‘someday’ was today? 🚀 Imagine living your IDEAL life, not in the future, but right now! Let’s be real—how often have you caught yourself saying, “I’ll get to that someday, one day, next week, tomorrow, in the new year...”? But what if ‘someday’ never comes? I used to think ‘someday’ would just happen. Or that there would always be a better time—when things ‘calmed down.’ But here’s the truth: There’s never a perfect time. I realized I was using that as an excuse to avoid the hard part—focusing on what it really takes to get what I wanted. Everything I said I wanted was just a lot of hot air, and that did NOT feel aligned. Once I started practicing what I taught, everything changed. Without a plan, my dreams were just wishes. But once I started to do the hard work, everything changed—and life actually got easier! Looking back now over a decade, THANK GOD I DID. Financial planning isn’t about numbers—it’s about freedom. It’s about turning that dream home into your real address or retiring early to enjoy MORE TIME. Without a plan, your dreams stay just that—dreams. Or worse, they become the source of stress, as you constantly question if you’re on the right path. But here’s the good news: you have the power to change that. It just takes choosing YOU. Turn your ‘someday’ into today. Set your intentions and create the steps you need to reach them. Surround yourself with the people that can HELP you make it all happen. I WANT YOU TO MAXIMIZE LIFE AND MINIMIZE STRESS. 🎯 Don’t just let life happen to you—take control. It’s time to design your life with intention and action. What’s your next move? 💬 Are you ready to stop waiting for ‘someday’ and start living your ideal life today? Comment ‘I’m ready’ below, and let’s start planning that extraordinary life together. #financialfreedom #goalgetter #MONEYBITCH #intentionalplanning
