Roosevelt Strategic Council is honored to welcome our newest volunteer Advisory Board Member, Mahmoud Shouman, P.Eng., SmartScore AP. Mahmoud currently serves as Division Lead of Jaros, Baum & Bolles' dedicated Building Intelligence (BI) division and is also the founding Chair of BIG-NYC Building Intelligence Group (BIG-NYC)—a cross-disciplinary education, support, and networking organization. As a professional engineer, Mahmoud’s passion for innovative and sustainable engineering solutions in the built environment is well-recognized by his peers in the industry resulting in many award-winning and high-profile designs and projects. He has extensive experience in portfolio digitization, use case strategy, and the development of portfolio-wide standards, in addition to the digital enablement of building systems and the design of building intelligence technologies, software and use cases for master systems integration. RSC looks forward to having Mahmoud’s passion and expertise as a guiding voice in helping us develop the most relevant and impactful content for our summits and symposia dedicated to the built environment.
