In some companies, if a “Line” aircraft is being worked on, then this placard is put up in plain view for all to see. This has multiple benefits: 1. Other Maint. Team members are in the (bigger) picture and know that colleagues are engaged in activities that you need to be aware of. 2. An oncoming crew the same, plus, they don’t get a heart attack when there are 2 pages of ECAM warnings as they board the aircraft. During the transition of old NAA to JAR to now EASA, the “handover” of the Tech Log from OPS to MAINT (and also the other way round), was a very ceremonious thing. Once there was a T/Log entry in the book, then the aircraft entered a new status (of non-airworthiness) and the only way to be serviceable again was via the clearing of the Log via a CRS.

At HLH Aviation, our commitment to safety is not just a routine – it's a culture that goes above and beyond industry standards. We believe in staying ahead of the game, and that includes addressing manufacturer alert service bulletins even before the FAA issues an Airworthiness Directive. In this behind-the-scenes glimpse, an HLH A&P mechanic is performing a dye penetration test on main rotor transmission mounting points. This meticulous process allows us to detect even the tiniest cracks that might compromise the structural integrity of our aircraft. Why go the extra mile? Because safety is our top priority. By proactively addressing service bulletins, we ensure that our fleet remains in peak condition, meeting and exceeding the highest safety standards set by the aviation industry. At HLH Aviation, we don't just maintain aircraft – we nurture a commitment to excellence that extends beyond the hangar doors. Trust us to keep you soaring with confidence! 🚁🔧 #SafetyFirst #HLHAviation #BeyondStandards #AircraftMaintenance #AviationSafety #AGoodDaytoFlySafely

Dear CAMO professionals working on AMP developments and revisions! Could you please let me know how you work on e.g. Airbus (any type) when determining MPD tasks applicability based on aircraft configuration such as production MODs, in service SBs status, installed equipment and any other criteria affecting tasks applicability? Can you please let me know, which method you use: a) manual tasks by tasks checking against particular aircraft configuration, b) usage of specialized software, specify which one c) don't care about tasks applicability - I use AMP of previous operator 🙂 please specify that in comments, many thanks! #camo #amp #airworthiness #engineering
