Jawoyn Association’s Post

Inspiration, Connection, and Big Aspirations! Our recent Jawoyn Association study tour to Uluru was an incredible journey of learning, collaboration, and growth. From world-class experiences dark sky experiences to profound insights gained from connecting with local Indigenous guides and leaders at the National Indigenous Training Academy, the trip was nothing short of transformational. This experience has sparked big aspirations for growing Jawoyn leadership and enhancing our tourism offerings at Nitmiluk National Park. With a renewed vision and a clear plan, we’re excited to bring more innovative and culturally enriching experiences to life for visitors while continuing to honor and share our living culture. A huge thank you to Tourism NT for their support through the Aboriginal Tourism Development in NT Parks and Reserves Grant Program - This made the journey possible and supports the future of Jawoyn tourism. Also a big shout out to Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia for their support in making this happen. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected future for Indiginouse Tourism. #JawoynProud #NitmilukTours #BusinessDevelopment #CulturalTourism #Leadership
