Success requires training your mind to counteract negativity. You need to be a pro at controlling responses to adversity. Learn steps to avoid getting struck on the downside. 👇 First off, it’s really important to understand that you can’t control all that happens to you, but you can, and must control, how you respond. I believe strongly in the power of daily affirmations to help build the mindset you need for success. I find doing these first thing after getting up in the morning helps both set the tone for the day and avoid any tendencies for negativity. Here’s one part: “I release all tendencies to doubt, worry, be anxious, be judgmental or critical of actions of omissions or commissions by me or by others.” This statement covers a lot. I’m looking first inside at my own actions and reactions and then outside at those of others and at circumstances beyond my control. This is an early opportunity in the day to neutralize negative instincts and not allow them to bog me down. To complete this affirmation, I add: “I attract positive energy and radiate it back out to the whole world.” This way, I’m working both to control negative instincts and to affirm a positive mindset.
