Kingsbridge will bring a vacant site back into employment use by creating three best-in-class, highly sustainable business units at Bartley Way, Hook.   Hart District Council has approved our plans for the 2.6-acre site, formerly the location of the derelict Europa House.   We are now working to bring forward one unit of 37,800 sq ft and two smaller units of 9,280 sq ft, targeted to be ready for occupiers by the end of this year. https://lnkd.in/ezsfbUfY #sustainabledevelopment #planningconsent #industrialdevelopment #kingsbridge

Spending the week in Pittsburgh, the City of Bridges, and everytime I’m here I am reminded how amazing this market is! There are so many similarities between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Both are undergoing a technology and healthcare reinaissance, attracting/retaining a new demographic of young affluent renter. Students attending some of the country’s premiere engineering schools like Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne are choosing to stay in Pittsburgh. The demand for modern apartments is being satiated as prolific developers are delivering stunning multifamily properties all across the market. Submarkets in Pittsburgh like The Strip District and Lawrenceville are eerily reminiscent of Northern Liberties and Fishtown here in Philly. If Pittsburgh is not a target market for you, you may want to reconsider. 🌳🏡 I oppose the drastic changes to Austin's development regulations with HOME phase 2. These changes could undermine our affordability and disrupt our community without proven benefits. We shouldn't experiment with our city's future based on insufficient evidence. 🌄 Maintaining privacy and green spaces is essential. Reducing lot sizes threatens our environment and the quality of life we cherish. 🚉 Upzoning for mass transit should not compromise the lifestyle of our residents. We must enhance, not re-engineer, the Austin we love. 💰 Such changes risk raising property taxes and pushing residents out, benefiting large investors at the expense of everyday Austinites. 🛠️ My constituents want better city services, not a radical redesign. I stand with them and will vote no. Let's build wisely, preserving what makes Austin unique.

The city of Chicago is considering modifying zoning regulations to facilitate increased growth and development in the Uptown and Edgewater neighborhoods situated on the North Side of the city. Information regarding the Broadway Land Use Planning initiative has been made available on the city's website. The Department of Planning and Development, in collaboration with the 46th, 47th, and 48th wards, as well as the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and Uptown United, is working on a land-use plan. The primary objective of this plan is to "upzone" Broadway from Montrose to Devon avenues, aiming to foster development and progress in the area.

This week, our City Council approved an exciting redevelopment plan for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority / Tri-Rail station area.
