A lot of founders ask me what's the best way to circle back to investors who have passed on them before. Here's my answer: 1. Look back at your previous quarter, reflect on at least one thing you and your team have accomplished or learned that makes you different from when they last saw you. Share that 2. Look out into the future quarter, and choose one goal you're going to have nailed before the quarter ends. Make sure you're confident in nailing it. Share that 3. Be brief and confident in your outreach and make sure they know they're one of many investors who are part of this process Communicate both 1 & 2 above properly (see point 3) That's how you loop old investors in, by showing them continuous progress in a confident manner.
