EXCITING JOB OPPORTUNITY! We’re looking to expand our busy Foodservice Equipment Sales Team, working at our HQ in Pitstone. Reporting to our Sales Office Manager, responsibilities will focus on assisting our nationwide customer base with their catering equipment requirements, with a proactive approach to maximise business opportunities. The role also includes general sales administration such as order processing and other supporting tasks, including assisting our Head of Marketing with website and product administration. The right candidate will be helpful and enthusiastic, able to work as part of a close team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience within the foodservice or catering equipment industry would be advantageous, but not essential as we offer many training opportunities. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Competitive salary dependent on experience, with additional benefits package. Interested in a new challenge? Starting my journey in sales with small companies allowed me to gain invaluable experience by facing new challenges daily. Now, I apply these insights on LinkedIn to sell unique products. One conclusion I reached is the desire to trade in exclusive products to avoid price renegotiations due to competitors. This led me to focus on two options: partnering with world-famous brands or nurturing relationships with growing small brands. My path as a wholesale confectionery sales manager and part-time supervisor began in 2010 in a small company in Kharkiv, Ukraine. With two years of sales experience, I delved into marketing and promotion without formal business education. Interaction and customer experience improvement became my focus, driven by the goal of minimizing competition and maximizing margins. Working in small companies offers freedom and creativity compared to the constraints of larger corporations. However, challenges arise with suppliers' honesty and the presence of larger sellers willing to capitalize on your efforts.
