Harassment kill every day, directly or indirectly..... At school, cyberbullying and others forms of harassment are concerning around 35% of the kids. It happens more easily when teachers / employees of the same school are concerned by harassment too.... BUT TOGETHER, we can reduce it #harassment #safety #schools

I had to revise this specialty presentation on Gang Grooming. I like the new look and updated content. A lot of content is specific to Bermuda, but I can reach any community. " Deglaroizing Gangs -Gang Grooming" In today's society, young people must be aware of the dangers and consequences of gang grooming, criminal convictions, and juvenile violence. My upcoming presentation aims to educate and inform students about these pressing issues, empowering them to make informed decisions and avoid involvement in illegal activities. By understanding the manipulation tactics of gang grooming, the long-term impacts of criminal records, and the cycle of juvenile violence, we can guide our youth towards positive and constructive paths. Join me in this critical conversation to create a safer and brighter future for all.

As a young adult I had the difficult opportunity to work with older kids and teenagers from what we would call today "underprivileged backgrounds". We used to call it "pathological" back then - of course not to their faces. Why? Because we haven't call them ANYTHING, to their faces, we treated all of them like anyone else - like individuals. It was tough and at times emotionally draining job. Those kids have often seen and went through a lot of stuff, that many adults never have to. They often were experts at pushing the envelope right to the very edge, provoking conflicts and inciting reactions. Every new starting group was a constant battle of wills, and one in which you were not allowed to lose your cool for a second. Until they realized you mean what you say, you are there to treat every one of them fairly, but FIRMLY. That you expect them to cooperate, and that pushing buttons won't get them the expected reaction, but trying to push buttons they were told not to push, will result in expulsion from the program - done calmly and respectfully, with explanation "listen, you were told not to do that, once, twice, and now third strike, you are out - by your own decision and choice of acting a certain way". I had to expel only one guy, once - during the entire summer of working with teenagers who were "problem children", some of them violent and completely wild at school (better yet; we accepted him back, at the end of the same day, because it was clear by the change of his demeanor, that this was the message he needed to believe I mean what I say). Moral of that long story - the worst we can do, is to treat people with tougher backgrounds with kid gloves, and deny them the respect of making their own choices, and learning from their own mistakes. The "bigotry of low expectations", is in my opinion the worst kind, and leads to perpetuation of the wrong patterns and behaviours. (...and have I mentioned I love dr Sowell?)

I came across this documentary that addresses a very dangerous criminal thing that happens in this world, and surprisingly to me, here in UK. I am shocked to find out those crimes happened and still happen here in UK; and I am as shocked to find out authorities don’t resolve this crimes! In this circumstances, it’s extremely vital for families and for young girls to be aware of this horrific dangers!!!!! If authorities don’t stop those criminals, it’s easy to understand that the lives of young girls are left mainly up to chance! And that’s not right! How come, the future of a young girl, it all depends upon if it happens that she meet a good guy (that is a good, respectful boyfriend) or if it happens that she meet some of those criminals that if she get involved with, they will destroy her life!!!!! That’s absolutely unacceptable!!!! Those criminals shouldn’t be allowed in our society!!!!! Majority of young girls are not capable to differentiate between those criminals that treat them over nicely at the beginning of the relationship (grooming them) and a honest, decent, transparent, intelligent, respectful, normal man that treat them normally. As a rule: if a man is promising you the moon, especially at the beginning of a relationship, RUN! If a man tries to push you into doing things you don’t feel like doing, especially at the beginning of a relationship, RUN! If he tries to “surprise” you at the beginning of a relationship, Run! Do not allow your friends (boys or girls) to control you! When in doubt, talk to your partners, your teachers, police, authorities.

Six Ways A Victim Is Abused Post Separation #postseparationabuse #domesticviolence #conflict #legal #abuse Any domestic abuse that occurs in a relationship is about power and control. Abusers terrorize and intimidate their targets they also confuse and devalue you as a person. They use the relationship for their own purpose. Don’t make excuses for their bad behaviour. Post-separation abuse is a continuation of the power and control dynamic that was present in the relationship. Abuse Can Get Ramped Up At the termination of a relationship, the abuse can get ramped up as they realise that they are losing power and control over their target. They can become angry and enraged as they hate losing control and power over their primary target. Post-separation the abuser can seek to punish, hurt or regain control and get revenge. Watch my video to discover more about six ways a victim is abused post-separation and things that can help you.
