#EGOS24 #subtheme80 in Milan focused on two increasingly important and intertwined fields of research: trust and crises, in the context of a new era of turbulence. The 40th EGOS colloquium was this time titled: Crossroads for Organizations: Time, Space and People and in discussions with fellow researchers, it was noted that we are going through some difficult times - crossroads is not an easy place to be. We presented our work on incubation periods in crisis management, based on early stage of COVID-19 in Estonia with Hannes Nagel. Coming from the field of crisis management, it was really inspiring to learn about the prevalent issues among the trust researchers and just how important this field of research is for understanding how to better manage - or even better, prevent - various types of crises. Many thanks to the fellow sub-panelists and also to the convenors of the theme, Guido Möllering, Ensieh Roud and Gareth Owen. I feel really lucky to have been a part of our sub-panel! ✨
