62% of employees don't have a say in their organization's workplace policy. That's a problem that's leading to lower #engagement and #productivity, unpacked and rebuilt by Debbie Lovich and Rosie Sargeant of Boston Consulting Group (BCG)'s Henderson Institute think tank. "The most successful organizations recognize that there is too much complexity to set rigid, top-down mandates, and that the managers who are at the rock face of the work, the team, and the customers are best positioned to make such decisions when they are empowered with the right skills and tools." In their Harvard Business Review article, they combine recent research (which that I use a lot!) and pack it full of insights from work they've done with clients plus experts like Tsedal Neeley: “I talk about using the office as a tool, the same way we use various technologies as tools to communicate and engage. If you see the office as a tool, you determine what specific uses it has for collaborations that require people to be physically present together.” 📖 Read the article, and let me know what you think: https://lnkd.in/gJWiSiFx 👉🏽 Take and share the next round of their survey! https://lnkd.in/gAWCnZAf #returntooffice #FutureOfWork #productivity #culture #connection #management #training #research #remote #remotework #hybridwork #workplace
