⚡ Understanding the journey is everything ⚡ If you can shift and change with the times, and absorb lessons you learn along the way, you become Beyoncé. Obviously, that is a huge oversimplification, but the lessons are there if you are listening and willing to build grit and resilience. That takes time, energy, change, pain. It isn't easy. AND (not but - because that is insecure language) that is growth. Growth is the worst, because it is unpredictable, unforeseen, and new. What does innovating in real time look like? Great question. And there’s no perfect answer. Yet, yet, when we find an example, there’s a few lessons we can learn. Sometimes #innovation is about trusting the talent around you to create something special! It can start out with #uncertainty (“can we really do this?”) and with #failure (“uhh Boss, no, not that key”) but then there’s trust, in each other, in your leader. There’s a little fear at first of course, but you realize, you can do this, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. So you just push forward, maybe faking it a little bit. You improvise, you look for feedback from your teammates and your users (or audience) and they’re cheering you on, maybe challenging you a little. Of course, there’s a timeline. You can’t keep testing forever, you have to deliver, release, launch. Things may not be perfect, but at some point you let er rip, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼. You know everyone has a part to play, you’ll have support, and you don’t have to be perfect, but you do have to contribute, you do have to deliver, to have some #courage, to step up. So you do.
