Every time I see her I’m just so blown away by her size. The 112m (367ft) superyacht RENAISSANCE was launched just last year by Freire Shipyard - C.N.P.FREIRE, S.A and has already cemented her name as one of the most iconic yachts in the current fleet. Renaissance’s volume is a whopping 7,200 GT, which is on the higher spectrum for a yacht that size. Just for reference, here are some yachts in the same size bracket as Renaissance, along with their gross tonnage: KAOS - Oceanco, 110m (361ft), 4,500 GT AL RAYA - Lürssen, 110m (361ft), 4,241 GT PELORUS - Lürssen, 115m (337ft), 5,403 GT LE GRAND BLEU - Bremer Vulkan, 112m (367ft), 5,556 GT LADY MOURA - Blohm+Voss, 105m (344ft), 6,359 GT

The top three most expensive yachts sold in 2024 are stabilized Quantum! BOAT International Media analyzed the sales data for 2024, and found that the total market size added up to 711.9 million Euros. The top 10 most expensive yacht sold last year range between 60 and 90 meters, and 70% have a Quantum system installed. According to BOATPro, superyacht sales have steadily declined since the post-pandemic surge in 2021, sparking a question within the industry: is superyachting losing its appeal or merely stabilising? IYC - The International Yacht Company CEO, Raphael Sauleau, notes, “The market seems to have stabilised in 2024, and we foresee a return to normalcy (pre-pandemic levels) rather than further declines.
