Processing drone survey data in-house requires expensive hardware, specialized training, and long processing timelines. What if you didn't have to? Imagine this... you place your ground control points and fly the drone... upload your data... and that's it–you're done. See how outsourced photogrammetry and lidar processing works with Trimble Stratus. Trimble Civil Construction

One of the toughest challenges in preconstruction is navigating the unknown. Whether it’s incomplete surveys, outdated site information, or unforeseen conditions, these gaps can lead to costly delays and rework once the project is underway. That’s why leveraging technology, like 2D and 3D drone mapping, is a game-changer for the construction industry. Drone maps provide high-resolution aerial views and accurate topographical data, offering critical insights into site conditions, elevations, and potential hazards, long before the first shovel hits the ground. This information empowers teams to plan more effectively, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions that save time and money. In today’s fast-paced construction landscape, having the right tools early on can mean the difference between a smooth project and unexpected setbacks. #preconstruction #precon #construction #constructiontech #dronetechnology #topography #photogrammetry #mapping #innovation #airmatix #3dmap #orthomosaic #

Zero Gravity Civil Tech's drone Photogrammetry team wrapped up a large project for a surveyor in CA yesterday. The drone data will be used as a supplement to the conventional design survey our client is completing. In addition to providing an orthophoto, we will be drafting the topo survey from our client's conventional survey data, which includes planimetrics, a TIN surface, and annotation. Stay tuned!

Value proposition: What does Wood Rodgers, Inc. do for you by providing aerial mapping and land surveying services? We are a professional consulting firm, providing a multitude of surveying and mapping services. In our Reno survey department alone, we have decades of experience accumulated between 22 department staff members. Present your problem to us and we’ll walk you through what solutions and methodology we have, that best solves your problem. We can make lots of maps. Which is the best one for you? ✴ Need to know how much dirt was moved on a 25-acre site? ✔ We’ll survey that with a drone and aerial photogrammetry, providing you a surface map and cut/fill report. ✴ Need to know where utility features exist? ✔ A field crew will locate, identify, and measure those features and provide an as-built map. ✴ Do you know the constraints on your site, i.e. property lines, easements, or setbacks? ✔ We can provide a boundary survey and research title information to help you understand your property encumbrances. 📍 Basically, you need to know where something is and we can provide that with high accuracy, precision, and confidence. Time is money. Most people don’t have enough of either. We can all try to get more money. Time however, is finite. Let us have a discussion with you about how we can save you some money through our modern, efficient workflows. And through those same efficiencies, maybe we can save you some time. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gwi8hegD Check out my sweet graphics! ⬇ #landsurveying #surveying #mapping #aerialmapping #lidar #photogrammetry #asbuilt #topo #topographicmapping #boundary

SPONSORED POST Good data in, good insights out. Bad data doesn’t just slow you down—it drains your budget, delays your project, and frustrates clients. Propeller’s cloud-based geospatial workspace empowered project teams to measure and manage their reality with survey-grade accuracy. With survey data, designs, and media in one place, the right data is always ready to go—empowering users to replace rework with great work, making great work the status quo. In a recent field test, Propeller tested their PPK workflow on a 40 hectare active civil construction site, using @DJI’s Mavic 3 Enterprise for photogrammetry and the Matrice 350 for lidar. The result? Centimeter-level accuracy, independently verified by a professional land surveyor.
