After scrutinizing 100s applications for post of intern for the month of December 2023 at our office ,the same is filled.Thank you all the candidates who applied for the internship and best of luck . Few take aways from the whole process after scrutiny of the CVs of the candidates - 1.Publication though is considered an important aspect while analysing the research skill of a candidate,but yes the quality of the publication/s also matter all the employers are well aware of the so called paid journals (national & international) and the other unknown ones so virtually such publication won't help your cause.Rather you should try sending your articles/writeups/case comments to Livelaw/bar&bench and other reputed legal blogs which have much wider viewership and hold value. 2.Interships - Always mention the period of internship along with the place where you have completed the same and instead of over glorifying the work done be precise with mentioning only the work that was actually done and can be justifed while the employer asks about the same . CV drafts- Please dont add you photographs to the CV as any employment as intership is not granted on the basis of your physical appearance instead its your experience and intellect that matters. Last but not the least please keep the language of your email strictly professional and when the post is for is for a on-site internship then dont ask for a virtual internship and always follow the process as mentioned by the employer rather than directly calling the Employer please note thats not considered very profeesional and wont help. The Summer Class of 2024 had their internships at top PR consultancies in the country, from Jan to Feb 2024. The students resumed classes to complete their final term. The students showcased their internship experiences through engaging presentations. They shared insights into their daily tasks, highlighting the practical knowledge they gained across diverse sectors. The interactive sessions saw a lively exchange of ideas and learnings amongst students during Q&A segments. They not only stated their tasks but also shared the feedback that their mentors in the organisations shared with them.
