Our universe is vast, and there are countless deep sky objects to discover. Recently, I captured an image of M81 (Bode's Galaxy) using my Schmidt Cassegrain telescope and deep sky camera. This galaxy is located 12 million light years away from earth and has a massive 45,000 light year radius. It's awe-inspiring to think about the sheer size and distance of this beautiful object in our universe. Keep exploring, keep looking up, and keep discovering the wonders of the universe. Any telescope may be used, but one with a 60-mm or larger objective is recommended. Star hopping is preferred over “go-to” or “push-to” methods, but we will not insist on this if the rest of the observations are clear, well-documented, and unhurried.
