This is another fantastic endorsement of the impact the It's Fresh! technology can have globally - thanks Forward Fooding for the acknowledgment. Before starting in the fresh produce industry, I had no idea of the scale of the ethylene problem, and the deleterious effects of the solutions used by industry today. Given the responsibilities of the industry to feed the world in a more sustainable way, reducing its footprint comes principally from reducing waste. Managing ethylene is a critical part of achieving this. It's wonderful being a part of the team bringing the It's Fresh RYPEN technology to market - it's a solution that is truly miles ahead of everything else. And that's great news for the fresh produce industry, and the planet more generally. #climatechange #agriculture #packaging
We are thrilled to share that It's Fresh! has been included in the 2023 FoodTech 500 list by Forward Fooding! It's an honor to be selected from over 1,500+ applicants across more than 50 countries. Thank you to Forward Fooding for including us on the list! It's hard to believe that the Food and Beverage Hub was only launched a year ago - it's some of our most visited and shared content. It happened - and happened so well - because we worked on it holistically: we brought different people with different skills, knowledge and experiences to work together from the start and throughout, and produced something that I haven't seen anyone else do before... It wasn't a case of lining up subject experts to talk about what they knew. There was a richness, a depth, a humanity, and humour that could only come from being in-house together, from deeply trusting each other and from being comfortable enough to question and challenge ideas and thinking. As a business, we're still benefiting from this work a year later and will continue to do so in years to come. Here's the article which started it all off... https://lnkd.in/eA75N4zg #FoodHub #Innovation #FoodAndBeverage Innovia Technology
