Your entire livelihood could disappear in an instant. With a fresh slew of court cases aimed at taking down TikTok, I feel for the content creators who are once again facing a real threat to their business. If TikTok disappears, so will their main source of income. Social media is an incredibly powerful tool, but it can’t be your only platform. My advice is to use TikTok and Instagram to drive traffic to a platform that you can control. You have to be really, really good at marketing in 2024. And I know that marketing isn’t everyone’s favorite activity. In fact, sometimes it can make you feel like you’re annoying people. But marketing – when done correctly – isn’t about annoying people or tricking them.
