Having the best hiring process isn’t enough. Having the best candidate experience isn’t enough. And having the best employer brand isn't enough. Founder of Bloom | Leadership | Culture | Wellness | Authenticity | On a mission to create a world where we get to be all of who we are
Psssst. Talent/Recruitment folks... I know it's Saturday and all, but I figured I'd send you all a little message whilst it's quieter on here. I was in recruitment for about 18 years before I moved into the People space. There is so much I love about it, and I actually miss it in so many ways. I spent a lot time whilst I was doing it, not realising how amazing it is and not realising just how much value I was bringing to the world, let alone the companies I worked for. And in case that's you right now, I just want to remind you. 💫 You are amazing. 💫 The work you do is amazing. 💫 You bring incredible value. I mean, think about it. 🤩 You have this amazing ability to connect with humans and learn about what lights them up. 🤩 You get to see and understand human dynamics in a way that is magical - always problem solving and figuring out the perfect balance for the role you are trying to fill. 🤩 You get to meet an array of different humans and learn from them. 🤩 You get to support them if figuring out their next steps, and help them find ways to grow. 🤩 You get to be an advocate for others, and fight for fair compensation for all humans. You do really important work. It's honestly the work that set the foundation for me to understand humans the way that I do, and frankly, understand myself more full in the process. You are amazing. That is all. ❤️
