🚨Alert: Search Ads have finally arrived on TikTok!🚨 Here's less-than-a-minute news + some of my thoughts 🔻 TikTok just launched Search Ads Toggle, a new feature on TikTok Ads Manager that allows brands to serve ads in TikTok organic search results. 1️⃣ Why it matters? - You can target high-intent user - 70% of ad groups with the Search Ads Toggle "on" see more efficient performance when compared to not 2️⃣ How can you use it? It is automatically set to the "on" position whenever you set up an In-Feed Ads campaign. You can activate it during campaign creation or mid-flight. Note: Activating the Search Ads Toggle mid-flight will NOT reactivate a campaign's learning phase. 3️⃣ My thoughts? Excited, of course! Especially, for E-comm brands with users looking for reviews through TikTok. Right now, it sounds similar to Google Shopping Campaigns where the algorithm determines the relevant keywords to target based on our ad info and content. I spent +3,600 hours learning to 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗧𝗥 on Meta Ads. But you don't have to wait that long. Here's what I've learned. On a bigger picture, you need to understand, that it's either: The people you're talking to are wrong or You have the wrong message to the right people or Both wrong Here are the solutions for each scenario: 1️⃣ If both wrong, ↳Go back to your creative research. A common mistake I saw is: What your persona prefers vs. What you want to put out You'd be surprised how many prefer that 'ugly' design. 2️⃣ If your audience targeting is wrong, ↳Do your creative targeting better. Notice how I didn't mention technical targeting? We need to stop going against Meta's guidelines! Trust the machine will do the technical work. Focus on your creative targeting. 3️⃣ If you have the right people, ↳Test different ad messages. There's no definite answer, only an educated guess. Test out different ad messages and see what hits. Don't be dumb. Track your ads. All of your work won't matter without it - that's the harsh truth. Why bother running ads when you don't even know who's buying? Tracking your ads allows you to: →See who is clicking on your ads →Track how many people are converting from your ads →Measure the ROI of your ad campaigns Without tracking, you're flying blind. You don't know what's working and what's not. And you're definitely not going to get the most out of your ad spend. P.S. Don't panic, check my comment section to check the best way to track your ads.
