What’s the difference between customer service and customer support? Every business offers customer service, yet not all require customer support. Take a restaurant, for instance; it delivers customer service during seating, ordering, and payment. However, the waiter is unlikely to instruct you on how to cut your steak. This is why these teams are often the first to be downsized. Founders may not grasp the distinctions or fully understand the roles they're hiring for, causing a snowball effect that creates a perception that people helping people to solve problems doesn't have value. #customerservice #customersupport #valuecreation #customercentric #customersatisfaction
