Everything is connected, from the human beings to the plant beings all across this globe that we all find ourselves existing upon. Everything we do has an outcome. The outcome of everything we do impacts more than just our individual self. The reach of the impact we have as one human being is rather magnificent. Which is why it is absolutely imperative we have activated self awareness on the impact our actions and inactions are having. Last November attending Vanessa Lesperance, MA, GDBA's wellness retreat while sitting in circle we were gifted the most intimate introduction to this beautiful concept birthed by Jacylin Poirier that asks us: What will be the consequences of your actions in 7 generations? And friends, the deep, authentic conversation and offerings that were flowing from this prompt were phenomenal. We cannot continue to exist in this me me me way of being that is forced upon us by settler colonialism. This point is proven by our deplorable track record of responding to the calls to action as one example. We have a responsibility as humans to start acting like human beings putting humanity first to showcase we understand that we are connected to each other, the plant and animal beings and the earth. The consequences of our actions are being shown to us daily, we must stop underestimating the role we are playing in the harm and begin to understand how truly powerful and transformative we are when we show up as humans intentional to live COYA- consequences of your actions. In 7 generations, what will be the consequences of our actions? We need to truly acknowledge what we need to disrupt, adjust, shift, in self in order to ensure our answer is not one that continues to be harmful to others on this planet. There are entirely different ways to exist and be - encouraging all to get familiar with the transformative work Jacylin Poirier is leading with COYA to learn more about what this can look like in practice. Gratitude for the invitation, the offerings shared, the humanity experienced. https://lnkd.in/gtM4ZXsB #BecomingHuman #SocialJustice #ChangeMakers #IndigenousWisdom

We’re at a pivotal moment in human history. For too long, a “dog-eat-dog” mentality has dominated our systems and societies. This ruthless approach, driven by the belief in "survival of the fittest" and "natural selection," has justified dishonesty, exploitation, and harm. But where has it led us? We see increasing disconnection, sickness, and fear. Those clinging to this ideology fail to recognize the harm it causes—not just to others, but to themselves. Isolation, inbred thinking, and fragility are the inevitable results of a system built on competition instead of cooperation. But it doesn’t have to be this way. It’s Time for Change To truly thrive as individuals and as a global community, we must shift our focus toward values that sustain and uplift humanity: Love and Compassion: These are not weaknesses but the foundation of strength and resilience. Community and Connection: Building trust, collaboration, and mutual support creates the foundation for thriving societies. Holistic Health: Moving beyond reactive health systems to ones that prioritize prevention, well-being, and harmony with nature. Equity and Justice: Fairness and transparency must replace exploitation and greed. Fear has been a tool to control and divide us for too long. By breaking free from fear, we can embrace hope, creativity, and trust in one another. Humanity thrives when we shift from competition to collaboration, from isolation to unity. What Legacy Will We Leave? The time to act is now. Each small act of kindness, each effort to build understanding, and each commitment to fairness and justice is a step toward a brighter future. Together, we can create a world where thriving isn’t a privilege but a reality for all. Let’s rise above division and transform our story into one of unity, love, and compassion. What will you do today to build a better tomorrow? #Leadership #LoveAndCompassion #HumanityFirst #Community #Collaboration #HolisticHealth #Empathy #Equity #PositiveChange #Hope #Kindness #Unity

🌟 Revolution from Within: The Power of Self-Transformation The term 'revolution' often conjures images of societal upheaval. Yet, I propose a different kind of revolution: one that begins within. This journey is not about dismantling external structures but about challenging and changing the internal ones that dictate our lives. Are you ruled by love or fear? Our society mirrors our collective inner states. For a healthier, fairer world, the transformation must start with us. This internal revolution isn't about self-criticism but about encouraging ourselves to embody our highest potential. If your reflection doesn't bring joy, it's a signal for change. As a life coach, I'm dedicated to guiding individuals beyond the fear that restrains them, enabling us to better ourselves and, by extension, our society. Real change starts with personal improvement. This path demands confronting and understanding the versions of ourselves that have taken control. It's about breaking free from the chains of old patterns and fostering deep, meaningful connections with ourselves and our loved ones. This process is essential for healing generational wounds and paving the way for a brighter future. Embark on this inner revolution with me. Embrace the journey of self-actualization and discover the profound satisfaction of self-love. Let's prioritize connections that truly matter, building a legacy of love, guidance, and healing that will resonate through generations. Join me in this transformative journey. In a world that often feels increasingly divided, we need a new way forward - one that brings us back to our shared humanity while honoring our unique journeys. This is why I'm introducing HEAL (Humanity, Equity, Acceptance, Love), a framework for social transformation that moves beyond traditional approaches to build genuine connection and progress. Humanity - Embracing our shared human experience as the foundation for all interaction and progress. This means moving beyond labels, categories, and artificial divisions to recognize the fundamental dignity and potential in every person. When we center humanity, we naturally build bridges rather than walls. Equity - Actively addressing systemic barriers while creating pathways for everyone to thrive. This goes beyond equal treatment to ensure that all people have genuine access to opportunities, resources, and the ability to shape their own futures. Equity means understanding that different journeys require different supports. Acceptance - Cultivating a society that doesn't just tolerate but genuinely celebrates our diverse experiences, perspectives, and ways of being. This means creating conditions where authenticity is valued and differences are seen as sources of collective strength and innovation. Love - Grounding our actions, policies, and systems in genuine care for human wellbeing and connection. This is about moving from fear and scarcity to compassion and abundance. When we lead with love, we naturally build toward justice, understanding, and collective flourishing. HEAL isn't just another initiative or program. It's a fundamental shift and lens in how we approach our challenges and each other. By centering Humanity, working toward true Equity, embracing Acceptance, and grounding our actions in Love, we create the conditions for authentic change. This is an invitation to reimagine what's possible when we lead with our shared humanity while honoring our different life journeys. Together, I hope to play a small part in beginning to heal the divides that separate us and work towards building a future we, and next generations, all deserve. #HEAL #HumanityFirst #SocialTransformation #LeadWithLove #CollectiveFuture

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT VIDEO TO WATCH IN 2024. For human connection is diminishing. Your power to save it is in your hands right now. It's your choice how you choose to use it and how much you allow it to control your life. This week after watching this video I'm curious as to the changes you will make For I am the crusader for ✅️ Saving your mental health, mine and those of our kids ✅️ Increasing your focus and attention span not diminishing it through living a life a Connectors way ✅️ Helping you realise that your life's happiness purpose and meaning begins and ends with connection- those precious moments off your phone in the company of a human being or with nature ✅️ Building your business with a strategy that connects for prosperity not just for profit or caught up in the vanity metrics of likes and followers. ✅️ Humanity that has ALWAYS been the answer find through life's struggles leveraging the power of people to grow our businesses, build connected workplaces, uplift each other, break down the mental silos that hold us hostage, our growing sense of pessimism living our lives on auto pilot. ✅️ Disruption to the exhausting meaningless choices you are making as you allow technology to dismantle your spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical health falsely believing you must have all these apps, subscriptions and tech tools to get business done. There is another way. https://lnkd.in/giZ7Bpgv #technology #business #connection

As this year draws to a close, I want to pause and reflect—not just on the highlights, but on the complexity of what our world has faced. For many, this has been a heavy year. Wars, violence, displacement, and deep systemic inequities have reminded us how fragile and interconnected our world is. On a personal level, many of us have carried quiet battles, made difficult choices, and faced losses that have reshaped us in ways we’re still processing. Acknowledging this isn’t negativity; it’s honesty. It’s recognizing the weight of the year and honoring the resilience it’s taken to move through it. If you’ve felt the strain, know you’re not alone. And yet, amidst the struggle, there’s been light. Communities have come together, voices have risen for justice, and people—ordinary people—have shown extraordinary courage. It’s these sparks that remind us of our shared humanity and the potential for change, even when the road ahead feels uncertain. As we move into a new year, my hope is this: That we remain grounded in compassion for ourselves and others. That we continue to ask hard questions and seek meaningful answers. That we hold onto the belief that better is possible—not through wishful thinking, but through intentional action. The challenges we face don’t disappear with the flip of a calendar, but neither does our capacity for growth or the strength we draw from one another. Let’s carry both the lessons and the hope forward. Thank you for being part of this community. For showing up authentically, for engaging in difficult conversations, and for committing to the work of being better—for ourselves, our relationships, and the world we all share. With care and solidarity, Tatijana & Team Busic Busic Psychology and Consulting #YearEndReflection #HopeInAction #CommunityAndResilience #HonestGrowth #NewYearIntentions

I'm now beginning to turn my mind to the retreat I will be attending end of May led by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies outside NYC. There will be 200 of us, all practitioners from 26 different countries. I know I'm going a long way for this but it feels important to be part of this community of practice. I felt heartened and deeply encouraged by Jon Kabat-Zinn's words that reached us this week prior to the retreat: "The retreat is taking place at a time when the full catastrophe of the human condition is certainly in evidence, a time of tremendous turmoil, war, violence, divisiveness, injustice, moral challenges, and uncertainty in the world, alongside the ever-increasing challenges we are facing from a warming planet, huge displacements of peoples, and threats to human rights and human values. What better time to come together to practice, not as a turning away or retreating from the world and its challenges, but by turning toward and opening to the full dimensionality of the human condition and our capacity (and I would add, responsibility) to participate in healing our world and growing ourselves in ways both little and not-so-little, and finding ways to listen to, learn from, and undoubtedly, inspire each other." #mindfulness #holisticstudies #consciousness #communityofpractice #awarenessmatters #metacrisis #planetarycrisis #consciousleadership
