Are you customer obsessed? I am 🙋♀️ One of my first jobs was at a pizzeria in Chicago. Above the phones was a quote that has always stuck with me: "It takes months to find a customer and seconds to lose one" ~ Vince Lombardi. Everyone has a role in customer loyalty, and it starts internally. It is the way you treat your employees/colleagues. It is the service that you provide to one another. It is putting the customer at the forefront of every decision. Chewy has been known for its outstanding customer service that goes above and beyond for its customers. The picture below is one small example of how they get it - they do right by their customer. They alerted me and provided a solution. It made my life easier. This in turn is why I remain a loyal customer. Solve your customer's problems and provide outstanding service and your customers will remain. What are you doing to keep your customers/clients?
Without a doubt, Chewy has been amazing place to work. I think I’ve finally found where I belong.
When our 10-year-old French Mastiff passed away last month, and I canceled our subscription, Chewy sent us a card. I knew it was automated but it was still thoughtful and appreciated.

FYI-it’s NOT my job to maintain adequate inventory for customers. How and mostly why would you expect your customers to know your inventory balance? Especially on auto ship/re-orders. Why wouldn’t you email customer of item back in inventory? Or, I don’t know say offer a discount on items you screwed up on like most companies do? Your….handling of this issue for a customer of over six years, is appalling at the very least. Whatever happened to “quality, customer satisfaction” of years ago? There was a time when business owners would do what they could to appease a disgruntled once very loyal customer! Now it’s just swept under the rug! …….. Joyce
I get prescription food for my dog from Chewy and this is not normal. I love Chewy, but normally you receive an email that your product isn't in stock. Period.
Always great service and caring organization. They send sympathy cards when your pet dies.
