Job seekers deserve clear communication from companies posting job openings. Remote and hybrid roles are not interchangeable. It's frustrating to apply for a remote position only to discover it's actually hybrid and may require relocation. Let's save everyone's time by being transparent from the start. #JobSearch #RemoteWork #HybridRoles #RecruitmentAdvice

As I know the limited remote work options available, I have a message for recruiters at Jobot. It's important to consider that when individuals seek remote roles, they typically desire full-time opportunities, working 5 days a week for 40 hours or more. Declaring a position as remote one day and then altering its nature can be misleading. Such roles would more accurately fall under the category of "Hybrid.

Does your job ad mention remote? Even if it's hybrid, with a bit of remote work, be sure to list the word remote as many candidates add this to their job search. #happyhiring #exceptionaltalent #rentarecruiter #makingplacements #talentteam #talentfinder #futureofrecruiting #recruiter #recruiters #rentarecruiter #talentsubscriptions #candidatejourneyb #candidateexperience

One of my favorite parts of recruiting is connecting with people who look past the “work” and see the growth, purpose, and potential in every role. If you’re someone who’s willing to update that CV, take an online assessment, or hop on a quick call, don’t let the effort (or a remote format) scare you away. There are incredible opportunities out there, including ones that embrace flexible or remote work arrangements. Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your next big career move is the decision to step up and go for it. #JobSearch #CareerGoals #WorkFromAnywhere #RemoteWork #RecruiterLife #JobHunt #Nexteam

Interesting insights from 10,000 survey professionals. Additional insights from my many conversations with clients and candidates in the last few months: 💡 companies are increasing in-office days 💡 more otherwise passive candidates are seeking new opportunities in response to increasing in-office requirements; compensation is less important for these candidates 💡 significantly fewer fully remote opportunities for candidates; remote/hybrid opportunities have larger interested candidate pools (esp. relevant for niche roles with limited expertise) 💡 compensation continues to be top of mind for many candidates, especially for relocation candidates 💡 continued sluggishness in hiring at mid to senior levels. #JobHunt #RemoteWork #RecruitmentStruggles Hey everyone! Have you ever had that experience where you’re excited about a job opportunity, only to find out it’s been changed to in-person just when you thought it was a done deal? 🤔 I recently had a conversation about this with some friends, and it seems like it’s happening more and more these days. Just in the last couple of months, I’ve had half a dozen staffing agencies contact me about remote positions. But then, out of nowhere, they're saying, "Oh, actually the company has decided they want in-person candidates instead." I mean, really? Let’s break this down: Consistency Issues: It’s baffling that a company can shift its stance so quickly. One minute, they’re open to remote work; the next, they're switching gears. 😩 Information Misuse: I can’t help but think this might be a tactic to collect our info - are these roles even real, or is it just a way to build a talent pool?
