I manage a team and the daily activities of the warehouse. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and evaluation of inventory. 3. What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy creating processes and root causing issues to generate a more efficient workspace. 4. What do you like most about CPM? We are a global company, but it can feel like we operate on a smaller scale. We don’t have all the red tape that large companies tend to have to accomplish goals. 5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy running, kayaking, and hiking with my family and pup. There is nothing better than a beautiful day outside. Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities and performance of the material handling area for both direct and indirect labor. Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, development, mentoring and resolving conflict. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and following company policy. Conduct regular department or pre-shift meetings to foster employee engagement, communicate any changes to company policies and procedures, address employee concerns, foster idea-sharing and suggestions for improvement. Participate in staff selection, performance and compensation evaluations, corrective action and terminations, as necessary. Evaluate and interpret business demand, prioritize and distribute daily work assignments. Establish line assignment and staffing depending on the line priority list. Determine and monitor work station assignments/rotation, associate breaks and required overtime. Meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. **Skills of Warehouse Supervisor** In my opinion, here’s a concise list of qualities for an expert warehouse supervisor:  i) Organizational: Efficient task prioritization and inventory management. ii) Communication: Clear instructions and active listening. iii) Leadership: Leading by example and motivating the team. iv) Problem-solving: Quick and effective issue resolution. v) Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and technology. vi) Safety Knowledge: Compliance with safety standards and promoting a safety culture. vii) Attention to Detail: Monitoring inventory accuracy and minimizing errors. viii) Time Management: Efficient scheduling to meet deadlines and maintain workflow. ix) Adaptability: Flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and embrace new technologies. x) Team Collaboration: Fostering teamwork and collaboration within the warehouse. xi) Customer Focus: Understanding and meeting customer requirements. xii) Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements. xiii) Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job. xiv) Decision-Making Skills: Making informed decisions to keep operations running smoothly. xv)  Financial Acumen: Understanding and managing expenses related to warehouse operations.
