Sustainability is a philosophy and way of life, not just a trendy word. Sustainability primarily refers to the prudent use of resources to satisfy current demands without jeopardizing the capacity of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainability refers to a broad range of actions to protect the planet's natural resources, including saving energy and water, decreasing waste, adopting eco-friendly practices, etc. By embracing sustainability, we can create a harmonious balance between human progress and culture.

Sustainability is crucial. it is not a choice, it is a necessity. Sustainability is usually mistaken for eco-friendly, while sustainability is a wider concept that encompasses many PPP-friendly approaches (people, planet, profit).

Unpopular opinion: the sustainability industry isn’t actually sustainable 🚫 🤑Too many “green” organizations claim that they’re working simultaneously for people, planet, and profit without acknowledging that they’re actively participating in the systems *cough* capitalism *cough* that got us here in the first place. 😮💨Too many organizations are content with sacrificing their workers’ well-being under the guise of advancing stakeholder interest - without acknowledging that workers are also stakeholders. 📈Too many organizations are accustomed to a maximum productivity model without taking a moment to question whether that model itself is sustainable. Infinite growth cannot exist on a planet with finite resources. 👷🏾♀️I’m interested in new ways of structuring our society and energy systems. Sustainability Governments, businesses, NGOs, individuals - everyone talks of sustainability - Idk if it is just a talk and no walk. There are some super stars of sustainability, who conserve water bodies, forests etc - but I am not naming anyone for FOMO. Many of us, if not most of us, do care about sustainability and walk the talk in our own small ways. Switching off the taps, lights, fans, AC etc are definitely some small acts of sustainability that most of us regularly do. But many of us really don't understand sustainability at the root level. Everything is a form of energy, including our thoughts, which is value agnostic. When we think/speak/act we provoke the nature in three ways - satvic, rajasic, tamasic (peaceful, active, and dangerous). These will have repercussions accordingly. How do we avoid the dangers? Answer is sustainability. Sustainability .....in thoughts (not to engage in unrighteous short term thoughts) .....in speech (not to engage in unrighteous short term speech) .....in action (not to engage in unrighteous short term actions) You might wonder why only short-term....as an individual it is difficult to sustain negative thoughts, speech, and action for longer terms. Moreover if you take care in short-term then it will augument in longer-term as well.
