The closest many will get to understanding the carnage and sacrifice of the D-Day Landings 80 years ago today will be through watching films like Saving Private Ryan or visiting museums. Over 4000 allied forces lost their lives on 6 June 1944 to help defeat the Nazi ideology 80 years ago, so that today we can enjoy the freedoms we have, and too often take for granted. It is our duty to protect the freedoms we have and never forget those that laid down their lives in 1944 and throughout two World Wars. When they are crying out for peace and security sudden destruction will come upon them. Consider that scripture. Consider why that is. Consider why I so often talk about the real things versus the counterfeits of the real. The same thing applies to peace and security. Those who demand peace at all costs even if getting a false peace, they will often pay the cost of it with their own lives. This is so because they get neither the peace they desire nor the security to stop how the false peace was used as a cover for the war prepared in it to be waged against them. This who believe lies also believe the lies that a false peace will give them security to calm their fears and confusion. They are in error. Hence why I often tell you that those who hate the truth are turned over to unsound minds and reprobate thinking which leads them to destruction. As for people so too for the nation and nations.
