Metaverse for Mental Wellbeing: From Vision to Reality at HCLTech The WEF's post emerging technologies prompted me to think about a topic I'm passionate about: the metaverse's potential for mental health. ✨ ♀️ Two years ago, HCLTech MetaLabs was born (https://lnkd.in/g8CTkQC7) - a strategic initiative exploring VR for industrial, enterprise and the consumer applications, and creation of therapeutic spaces became the most concluded value proposition outside of L&D applications. Fast forward to today, not only was the implementation a success, but MetaLabs has evolved! It's now integrated as a core feature within our digital workplace services, offering safe, accessible, and interoperable metaverse experiences. We've been part of the Microsoft early adopters program (TAP) and continue to progress in the product development even after its GA. But we're not stopping there! HCLTech is actively exploring real-time, immersive collaboration and communication within the metaverse.
