Christmas is just around the corner. 🎄Dare to Rethink As autumn starts, it's natural for organisations to start planning their annual festivities. 🥳 However, in a world that's becoming increasingly diverse and mindful of individual preferences, it's time to really reconsider how we approach these gatherings. Not everyone celebrates Christmas, and not everyone enjoys corporate parties. This year I’m daring you to rethink these events with inclusion & diversity in mind! 🗣️ Tip 1: Employee Input Matters Instead of assuming, engage your people and ask them what they need and want at this time of year. Tailoring your gatherings to individual preferences makes them more meaningful. 🛋️ Tip 2: Respect Comfort Levels Recognise that not everyone enjoys mingling at colleague parties. Provide diverse activities, accommodating both extroverts and introverts. 🎉 Tip 3: Beyond Conventions Swap out the traditional "Christmas Party" tag for something more inclusive. Offer unique experiences like workshops and cultural exchanges.
