18 million shots in arms! In the first three years of American Medical Group Association (AMGA) Foundation's Rise to Immunize® (RIZE) campaign, participating groups documented & administered 18.3 million vaccinations--including 6.3 million immunizations in the campaign year ending June 30, 2024 !! The campaign also saw nearly a 5% percent increase in the average bundle measure since the start of the campaign. This means more than 239,000 Medicare patients received comprehensive immunization care-- including all 4 out of 4 pneumococcal conjugate, influenza, Tdap and zoster vaccines.
I’d like to thank our 85 participating AMGA medical groups & health systems spanning 30 states and engaging over 53,000 physicians. Also thanks to our non profit partners Gerontological Society of America (GSA), Immunize.org, National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID), National Minority Quality Forum, Vaccinate Your Family, Unity Consortium, The Society for Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine (AMDA) and NAIIS , for all their hard work these first three years.
And of course none of this work would be possible without the generous support of our corporate sponsors-- including Pfizer (Founding Sponsor), GSK (Executive Sponsor), Sanofi, Merck and Johnson & Johnson (Principal Sponsors), Dynavax Technologies (Contributing Sponsor) and CSL Seqirus (Supporting Sponsor) .
Together, we will administer 30 million immunizations by 2027 through comprehensive and equitable vaccine initiatives! #RiseToImmunize

11moThis is a great list and I’m so happy to see the AMGA leading the way. Workforce diversity is an outcome of an inclusive culture, and both the mindset and skill set of inclusivity start at the very top of the house.
