The Partners for Green Growth scheme, part of Medway Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, aims to help SMEs in Medway become more sustainable and environmentally responsible. Financial support of up to £2,500 is available until March 2025. The funding’s goal is to help: ✅implement their decarbonisation plans ✅adoption of new processes that contribute to their net-zero journey Businesses from any industry sector are welcome to apply. We've spoken with many cleantech founders recently as we look to rank products by environmental impact. One of the things that we heard a couple of times off-hand was how discouraging it was to get up to speed on several environmental grants only to realize that programs had expired or were no longer funded. To that end, we have put together a summary of the grants we would recommend below. This excludes explicitly grants where we know several founders have had bad experiences and/or grants where the program is currently closed (we will add back if/when they open again). There are a lot of great programs here from Alberta Innovates, SCALE AI | Canada's AI Global Innovation Cluster, Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada and many others!
