"If you want a fully electrified global fleet, all of those vehicles have to have a great and reliable charging experience. So, as many of the know, recently we have started opening up our networks on a global basis. Over 50% of our Superchargers in Europe are currently open to other electric vehicles. We have also opened up in Asia Pacific with our first sites in Australia - and just yesterday - we opened our first 10 Supercharger sites here in North America in the US - to other electric vehicles." Just listened to Q1 earnings call from #Tesla. Give it a listen if you want a window into the future. 🤯 Conversations about humanoid robots (Optimus) that Tesla is developing that are a few years off (In Elon time). He suggested that the opportunity in this area would be bigger than all other initiatives at Tesla combined. And, a fully autonomous driving future that isn’t far off. And, interesting takes on the necessity of restructuring a business periodically for future growth. Tesla recently paired the workforce by 10%. He said even if we are off by 5% per year on hiring, that adds up to 25-30% off in terms of intentional org and people after 5 years. I think the combination of the head start on AI, power technology and other innovations, the stock is looking like a tremendous long term buy. Love buying tech stocks like this when they are under heavy bear pressure and there’s a massive opportunity most investors aren’t quite dialed into. I did that with Facebook, Apple, Nvidia and Novo Nordisk. I love following companies, listening to the earnings calls and developing a sense of their growth potential. TESLA SEMI EXPANDS: NEW CLIENTS AND FACTORY MILESTONES Tesla‘s Semi program is accelerating. I met José Muñoz a few times when we were both at Nissan. José is now Hyundai’s incoming CEO, and recently spoke about the company’s EV plans and the impact of political dynamics on the industry. His take: Any attention on EVs—regardless of the politics driving it—is a win for the market. It’s clear Hyundai is doubling down on innovation while keeping an eye on global shifts. Another great synopsis of the current state of #EV charging across North America by CNBC. Worth the watch! With recent restructuring at Tesla Supercharging and most OEM’s adopting the #NACS plug in 2025, there’s more than a few unknowns about the moves and players coming in the #EVcharging space in the next 12-24 months.

Absolutely Chris. I'll be even more brutal. There are only TWO categories of solutions: 1/the ones that always work and 2/all others. For EV infrastructure, whatever solution you've chosen, if you see it's not in "category 1" >> change it immediately. There are enough proven solutions in "category 1" not to suffer with something that is not satisfactory. Unfortunately, people too often believe that it will cost less to fix their solution than to change to something proven. They simply underestimate the collateral damage they'll suffer. That's what I observe in my domain of cellular connectivity, and reason why I always take the time to demonstrate what is an always-on cellular connectivity (Semtech)
