Over the last 35 years I have had the good fortune to have worked with and learned from amazing people in and around the construction industry. I can only describe them as smart, dedicated, determined, helpful, and they challenged me to up my game. Along the way, I have incorporated that wisdom and guidance into my own professional approach. Those lessons became the basis for my latest book. For all of you that gave me that support, guidance, and occasional kick in the pants, thank you.
The Little Book of Big Ideas for Construction Professionals (And Those Who Work With Them) is a collection of sage advice, best practices, and good old reminders about how to be successful in what can be a tough industry.
In the process of completing this book, I want to give a special thanks to Edison Cassels for taking the time to read the book, give his impressions, and provide a testimonial. It is a honor and a privilege to have worked with him on the #carolinasAGC Construction Business Academy and for his affirmation of this book and our collective efforts to elevate and support our industry and colleagues.
Thanks also goes to my biggest advocate, partner, and wife, Deborah
for pushing me to believe I could be a writer and to get outside my comfort zone (where the growth and magic happen).
