Jakarta is on the Move. 🌿 What's Happening? Jakarta, facing a sinking dilemma, is setting its sights on a new home: Nusantara in Borneo. With the northern part of the city dipping below sea levels, it's time for a strategic shift. 🌊 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Nusantara isn't just any place. It's a heart of biodiversity, promising a canvas for sustainable living amid rich rainforests. 🌳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: This move isn't just about escaping water. It's a chance to tackle pollution head-on and decentralise wealth, creating a more balanced Indonesia. 🇮🇩 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: With 2050 marking a potential underwater fate for Jakarta, the plan is to transition by 2045. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Imagine a Nusantara that's green, thriving, and inclusive. It's a bold step, but one that could redefine urban living in harmony with nature. 🌏 Jakarta's journey from sinking city to sustainable pioneer is one to watch. 🕒 However, should we be worried that humanity is yes again trespassing into the territory of nature?

That’s a real dilemma. It’s clear Jakarta was sinking though.
