I am on a Policy Trip to Abuja for the Policy Dialogue with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH , NITDA Nigeria and Digital Transformation Center Nigeria. I believe that policies designed and implemented through inclusive participation are the cornerstone of sustainable development, hence my recently published policy paper - https://lnkd.in/gFQ9jJ7A. The ongoing policy trip underscores this commitment, emphasizing the importance of involving diverse voices in shaping the policies that impact our communities. Participatory policy implementation and design ensure that the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders are considered. This inclusive approach leads to more effective and equitable solutions, as policies are crafted with a deep understanding of the real challenges and opportunities on the ground. During this trip, I will engage with various communities, government officials, and social entrepreneurs, gathering insights that will inform MUAZU AFRICA policy dialogue on a participatory approach to policy implementation. These interactions highlight the value of collaboration, transparency, and mutual respect in the policy-making process. By prioritizing participation, we can create policies that are not only well-informed but also embraced by those they affect. The largest country that has made significant investments in Africa is? Which country has allocated the most resources and capital to support economic development and growth on the African continent?

IRARA Nigeria was pleased to meet with the EU delegation to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to showcase its return and reintegration projects across the region. During the meeting, IRARA Nigeria's Country Director, Roland Nwoha, provided an overview of the organisation’s global operations, with a particular focus on the Nigerian office. He highlighted IRARA’s use of field data analysis to guide and improve the implementation of its projects, ensuring a more evidence-based approach to reintegration. Fruitful discussions were held on key challenges to reintegration in the region, such as inadequate referral systems for shelter and infrastructure issues impacting businesses. As a result, capacity-building initiatives have been planned to strengthen collaboration between all parties involved. IRARA remains committed to innovating through the use of data to ensure successful and sustainable reintegration for returnees in Nigeria. #sustainablereintegration #positivefutures #migration
