Hi All,
I would like to share to you that on May 31, 2024, my latest article entitled with "State Fulfillment of Indonesian Children's Civil Rights for Former Members of International Terrorist Organization" had been published in the journal of Veteran Law Review which accredited SINTA 4.
Essentially, the results of the article conclude that the civil rights of the Indonesian Children ex-ISIS including their citizenship status remains valid with determining them as the children of the victims from terrorism networks as stated in Article 59 paragraph (2) letter k of Law Number 35/2014, and also granted in both national and international laws, namely the Indonesian Constitution, UDHR 1948, ICCPR 1966, and CRC 1990.
Therefore, as for the implementation since their status are deemed as victims, so the government needs to conduct 'special legal protection' by providing them such as education, counseling, social rehabilitation, social assistance, and recovery as stipulated in Article 69B of Law Number 35/2024, Ministry of PPPA RI Regulation Number 7/2019, and BNPT Regulation Number 6/2021.
Many special thanks to my lecturer in-charge and also as Co-Author in this article, Ibu Davilla Prawidya Azaria, S.H., M.H., for your helping and guidance during the research, drafting, and until this article published.

1moCan government afford hiring grade R teachers, when currently they are planning to retrench around 2500 teachers in the Western Cape? This policy of compulsory Grade R is also impacting private schools as parents are opting to take their children to govt schools with lower fees or no fees .
