✈ Do 135 Charter Operators Require a High Altitude Endorsement? An Aviation Recruiter's Perspective... 👩💻 Here's what you need to know for low-time pilots considering paying for a high-altitude endorsement. While Part 135 operators require this endorsement if you're flying aircraft certified above 25,000 feet, you don’t need it until you’re operating jets or pressurized turboprops. And guess what? You'll receive the necessary training during your first type rating or through company training! Rather than spending hard-earned money on this endorsement now, focus on something that will boost your marketability like multi-engine hours. Employers seek pilots with multi-engine experience, and it opens the door to more opportunities in the charter world. Prioritize building meaningful experience now, and save the high-altitude endorsement for when it's truly required. #PilotTips #AviationCareers #MultiEngine #FlightTraining #PilotLife #Part135

Did you know that the Cessna 172 is one of the world's best-selling civil aircraft? Commonly used as a trainer aircraft for beginner pilots, it is a favorite in the aircraft community. Looking to buy? This plane ranges in costs. Expect it to start around $50,000 if bought pre-owned, and starting at $400,000 if looking for a new one.

Little update: Currently, I am in the middle of my Type Rating training for A320 family. When I was a kid, I was always wondering what all these switches and buttons were for. But now I understand they could be your life guarantee. Interesting fact about this bird "It's the first civil aircraft with fly-by-wire technology". Ps: I am actively looking for a job. If you have any offer, please contact me directly. Thank you. #Aviation #A320 #TypeRating #flighttraining #easa #pilot

I haven't flown for a few months and wanted to brush up on my Moorabbin Airport inbound and outbound procedures ahead of a planned flight (that was subsequently cancelled due aircraft unserviceability). I always find Moorabbin procedures, especially inbound, to be very time-compressed and busy with lookouts, radio calls, cockpit admin, and identifying circuit traffic and the correct runway at one of Australia's busiest airports. I started my usual prep in reviewing procedures, checking ERSA and AIP, and 'paper-flying' my flight, including my configuration changes, radio & cockpit admin, etc. Feeling like theory can only be so useful, I went onto YouTube to review some previous videos I checked out when preparing for some Essendon inbound/outbound procedures. Learn To Fly Flight Training Group have published a 3-part series covering the procedures and demonstration of flying inbound and outbound of Moorabbin. The videos are fantastic and comprehensive in visually illustrating the requirements of safe, correct, and efficient rejoin procedures for all runways and weather conditions. I found them a terrific way to consolidate my theoretical revision. My next flight is scheduled for next week, and I'll refresh myself with the videos again prior. As always, consult ERSA, AIP, and Airservices publications as the source of truth.
