As a few of the high rise projects that have been under construction come to fruition and deliver their units or rooms, we get to see the finished product in its full form. And the finished product for some of these projects adds significantly to the Atlanta skyline as this Urbanize article indicates. We were fortunate to have been the selling land brokers on all three of these highlighted projects. It is gratifying to see these projects be completed several years after the land sales, and even more gratifying to see these excellent developers build great buildings that, as the article states, are "worth looking at." https://lnkd.in/enGR-k_H

A case study to end the week looking at our work advising on the acoustic design of residential developments. This one was led by Doushiant Mohith from our Building Acoustics team. KINGSTON HOUSE GARDENS, LEATHERHEAD We were appointed by SUNNINGHILL CONSTRUCTION CO. LIMITED to provide acoustic consultancy services and ongoing support throughout the design and construction stages of the residential development known as Kingston House Gardens, Leatherhead. The project involved the demolition of existing structures and the construction of 36 new dwellings, including apartment blocks, terraced houses, and townhouses. It is the first build to rent scheme approved in the Mole Valley District Council and offers affordable housing to local people. The primary goal of the acoustic design is to ensure that the new homes provide a comfortable living environment by minimizing noise intrusion from external sources and controlling noise within the buildings. This involves meeting the standards set out in Building Regulations Approved Document E (ADE). Project update at Burkeen Developments on their latest residential build 🏗️The structure is now ready for handover, showcasing a remarkable brick slip finish. Although it mirrors the aesthetic of a traditional brick facade, this innovative solution involves brick slips bonded directly onto the finished ICF walls. 🏡 We also worked closely with architects and structural engineers during the design stage, ensuring compliance with building regulations. This collaborative approach reinforces our commitment to quality and precision. Projects like this highlight the growing demand for sustainable, energy-efficient solutions in construction—a demand we are proud to meet and exceed.
