I recently sat down with two mega agents (one from Allstate, and one from Farmers Insurance) who hosted a training on "How To Buy/Sell an Insurance Agency." Both agents offered unique perspectives. First, I spoke with Allstate mega agent Andrew Filar, who has built a $40 million agency in less than 6 years. Then I met with Farmers mega agent Josiah Hartley, who's purchased 6 books of businesses and participated in over 30 agency buy/sell transactions.
