Puddle Flanges (Contd...) Which Type of Puddle Flanges to be used? The type is again defined as per the requirements and application of a puddle flange. If there is one side connection required, majorly for inlet or outlet application, then Type A with one side end flange is being used. Type B, without End Flanges, is generally used when there is a requirement of maintaining level of the fluid across RCC wall or overflow application. Type C, with both side End Flanges, is used whenever there is connection required from both side, mainly pipeline crossing RCC wall. Also some pumps or instruments application may be there with this Type. Additionally, when a venting application is required on the top of the Tank, then Puddle Flange with one side Bent piece is used. This bent piece is generally 180 deg or 90 deg bent elbow. This provides general venting solution along with lesser impact of moving air. Sometimes to restrict insects or big flying light weighed particles to go inside, safety grill / jali is also provided on open end. More information / details on Puddle Flange will follow soon Meanwhile, for more interesting information or any further Query, please feel free to connect us. You may also share your views !!!
