Data cleansing is like regular car maintenance. Just as you need to change the oil, rotate the tires, and replace the brake pads on your car regularly, you also need to clean your data regularly to keep it running smoothly. If you ignore regular car maintenance, your car may still run, but its performance will degrade over time. It may consume more fuel, run less smoothly, or even break down completely. Similarly, if you ignore data cleansing, your data may still be usable, but its quality will degrade. It may become less accurate, less consistent, or even completely unreliable. Just as a well-maintained car performs better, lasts longer, and has a higher resale value, clean data is more accurate, more reliable, and more valuable to your business. It can provide better insights, support more informed decision-making, and ultimately drive better business outcomes. So, just as you wouldn't ignore regular car maintenance, you shouldn't ignore data cleansing. It's an essential part of maintaining the health and performance of your data.
