Wanted to share few thoughts about hardship called depression. I've gone thru that and no, I'm not ashamed to admit it, in fact I'm proud of the human being I've become because of it.
* I was forced to look deep inside of myself and now I see better, not only me, but others as well.
* I'm more present, I'm more humane; I realize better that encounters matter; smiles, looking another human being in the eyes, concentrating to presence and listening makes a big difference.
* I'm more myself; I've realized that I really don't have to act like something I'm not to make an impression. I am enough.
* I accept imperfections; none of us are perfect, so it's important to be gracious to others but also to yourself.
* I've learned what my boundaries are and most importantly I've learned to keep them. Also I've learned to respect more boundaries of others.
* I know knowledge/knowhow is power, and I've learned that the best possible way to use that power is to share the knowledge.
* People behind the titles matter; I've learned not to be afraid of superiors in chain of command. They are as imperfect as you are, so don't expect them to be perfect in their roles since that expectation is unfair.
* And that same applies to employees in your team.
* I've learned to be better supervisor/manager because what I have endured.
And remember, you never ever know what others are going thru, and the state that this world is in, KINDNESS is the only thing that matters.
Love, Peace & Rock'n'roll 🤘🏼❤

5moHard times are opportunities. If one has faith there is meaning behind all this. One that gets subjected to all kinds of challenges in life is like tempering gold. I pray to a God that still keeps tempering me as I get into my golden years.😊
