🔴 Danger in the Testing Environment: How a Moment of Inattention During Battery Testing Can Lead to Fatal Consequences 🔴 Short time ago a recent viral video shows a battery container exploding during a test. Without further information, it is hard to tell, what exactly caused the battery to turn into a thermal runaway. Generally batteries are not sensitive to the direction they are placed. The shock of the drop could have had an impact and very likely something in the mechanical parts of the container (holder, cooling pipes, cables) got damaged and then caused further reactions. 👉 So, the message I want to send out: Caution when handling batteries in the test environment: Safety measures and a well-structured testing environment are essential - especially when handling prototypes! 🛑 With test prototypes, even a small handling error or a slight environmental issue can trigger a thermal reaction like the one seen in the video.
