Testing has been highly successful, and I’m looking forward to scaling its impact in 2025. 🎥 Started my YouTube channel: "Fit to Care" Through interviews with amazing public servants on "Desert Island Diaries", I’ve uncovered inspiring career insights. This channel is all about celebrating those who dedicate their lives to public service—check it out if you haven’t already! 📅 Kicked off Friday Live Events on LinkedIn These sessions, every Friday from 12:00–1:00, showcase solutions to public sector challenges. OF GRIT AND GROWTH — MY ONGOING JOURNEY IN HEALTH SCIENCE Welcome to another edition of Men’s Health Month! Today, I want to share with you, my personal journey of resilience as a career person in the field of health science. My story reflects the development process of a newbie rooting downward with determination, striving to bear fruits outward. And I've come to realize that true strength lies not just in the results, but in the journey itself. Entering the health science field as a novice was an immense challenge, from finding my footing, to understanding diverse concepts, and to gaining practical experiences. Starting out, I was just a rookie with big dreams and a lot to learn. I had to deal with inferiority complex oozed out from comparison. I had moments where I thought to give up and get out, but instead, I chose to man up and keep on. I settled it within me that this initial phase is all about rooting downward—building a strong foundation in knowledge and skills. So, late nights studying, conducting cutting-edge researches, crafting compelling narratives and relentless networking are my daily routines. As I progress, I've began to see the fruits of my labor. My contributions are now making a tangible impact, and my expertise is being recognized. Every achievement to me, no matter how small, feels like a significant milestone. To all my fellow men out there, especially those at the start of their career journey, I urge you to embrace your strength—not just in your muscles, but in your spirit. Life’s demands are tough, but so are we. Today, we celebrate the rugged and unwavering strength that defines us as men. Let's continue to brace ourselves up and push through the hurdles of life. I'm so pumped that 2025 is here! It’s going to be a wild year of impact ahead. Here’s my hope for leaders and organizations this year: Build with care. Care for: - The people who make it all possible. - The relationships that drive the results we achieve. - And the human being behind every role and title. People often ask me to define “care.” To me, authentic care is about transcending the job description and striving to serve and impact lives in meaningful ways—inside and outside the workplace. It’s recognizing that: - For one person, care might mean nurturing their professional ambitions and growth. - For another, it’s showing up with compassion during a season of personal loss or challenge. Care is never one-size-fits-all. But the commitment to care beyond the role should always be universal. This isn’t just a “nice-to-have.” It’s the foundation of trust, loyalty, and a culture where people thrive. When we build with care, work becomes more than just work. It becomes a place of belonging, purpose, and impact for everyone involved. So, let’s make 2025 the year we lead differently. The year we prioritize people as much as performance.
