But what happens when Santa finds chaos instead of cookies? Ah, Christmas! The season of joy, family, and… chaos if you're not careful. 🎄 Dear parent, don’t let the holiday fun turn your home into Santa’s naughty list headquarters. Here's how to set rules without turning into the Grinch: 🖤𝗡𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴—unless you want your kid declaring, “I’m bored!” on Christmas Eve. 🎁 💛𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀—because hoarding all the mandazi and nyama for yourself will spark a sibling war. 🍗🥳 🖤𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲—or risk watching them scroll through TikTok while you sing carols to yourself. 🎶 Keep it festive, keep it funny, and don’t forget to remind them: “Even Santa checks his list twice!” 🎅 How do you keep the holiday spirit alive and sane? Holidays do not mean allowing for bad manners. So if dishes must be washed, there is no putting it off You could create an adjustment where three people rather than one do the chore.
This approach to Christmas celebration will keep every going in the right tone.
Keep it festive Keep it funny I'm working towards that
I love that these rules can be made rules without even kids realising.. For example Instead of ; No phones at food times this Christmas or I will take them. Say : children, we want to smile, share our top wind and celebrate each other this Christmas while enjoying our meal. At dinner we will sing some songs to thank God. For blessing us and keeping as happy.
Great advice
