The talk of the Formula 1 paddock is for sure the expected Scuderia Ferrari announcement that Hewlett Packard is the teams new title partner. There has not been many new partnership announcements from Scuderia Ferrari 2024, actually only one, the Peroni announcement in January. HP has already a small involvement in Formula 1, but it is a small one. 👉 RedBull Racing audio partner Poly is owned by Hewlett Packard. HP acquired Poly in 2022. Poly was valued at $3.3 billion. HP have no major involvements in Motorsport, other than HP is a Andretti Global partner in Indycar, at the moment. The company has a history in Formula 1. In early 2000 HP was a Williams partner. In 2015 Sauber had a partnership with HP. It is also easy to mix HP with HP Enterprise (HPE). They could still perhaps be described as cousins, but they are two separate companies. The two parted ways in 2015. HP is more of a hardware company, computers, printers etc..., while HPE is about software. HPE is a Mercedes-AMG and Sauber partner in Formula 1 2024. Italian beast - the striking Maserati MC12 Versione Corse! Developed directly from the MC12 GT1 racecar, the Versione Corse was built in 2006 as a response to customers asking for a customer version of the official racecar that they could enjoy at leisure. Similar to the Ferrari FXX. Only 12 were built in total, all for select customers at the time. Powering the MC12 VC is an Enzo-derived 6.0L V12 making 755hp and 523lb-ft of torque. Power was routed to the wheels via a 6-Speed Cambiocorsa gearbox. Performance numbers sat at 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and 0-120mph in 6.4 seconds. Top speed sat at 202mph with all the downforce.
