As part of the ITS Congresses' high-level programme, the plenaries provide unique platforms to engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators, including in-depth explorations of strategic and impactful advancements across the selected topics:
Plenary 1: The Green Shift - Accelerating a Sustainable Future through ITS. Taking place on Monday 19 May, 15:15 -16:15, this plenary will discuss how ITS can accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society, aiming to capitalise on Europe’s early adoption of green transport solutions and build on its leading role in sustainable urban planning and eco-friendly mobility systems.
Plenary 2: Resilient by Design – Shaping a Competitive Mobility Value Chain. Taking place on Tuesday 20 May, 09:00 - 10:00, the second plenary will address the urgent need for resilience in Europe’s mobility and logistics ecosystems to withstand environmental, technological, and geopolitical uncertainties. The session will aim to outline a forward-thinking framework that will position Europe’s mobility sector to thrive in an evolving and often unpredictable global landscape.
Plenary 3: Towards Leadership in CCAM and Automated Driving Technologies.
Taking place on Wednesday 21 May, 09:00 - 10:00, this final plenary will focus on strategies to foster innovation and accelerate market adoption of connected and automated mobility solutions, targeting societal and environmental goals in the face of global competition, aiming to chart a path for Europe’s leadership, including the urgent need to reskill the workforce to align talent with the sector’s evolving demands.
